Hadith of the Day: God Is With Me

Today’s Hadith is about: Allah is always with you

Hadith about God Is With ME

Hadith on the rewards of Hajj or Umrah and a story that will amaze you…

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “This House of Allah (the Kabah) is the pillar of Islam, so whoever heads to it with the intention of performing Hajj or Umrah is under Allah’s security. If he should die (during his trip) he is granted Paradise, and if he returns home safely, he returns with reward and gain.” [ Hadith ]

These were the kinds of stories we would hear about in the olden days. But people of faith and patience exist in these times too. In December 2011, 47 year old Senad Hadzic hit the road from Banovici, his hometown in northern Bosnia. He wanted to perform Hajj but had no money. “I decided to walk to Saudi Arabia, having only 200 euros,” Emirates 24/7 quoted him as saying. “I slept at mosques, schools and other places, including houses offered to me by good people.” In his back bag, he carried his copy of the Quran wrapped in plastic to protect it from the weather elements. So he walked for nearly 3,600 miles (5,900 km) on foot from his village to Makkah. Covering between 12 to 20 miles a day, Hadzic managed to cross six countries, including Turkey, Jordan and Syria before entering Saudi Arabia. “Some people asked me whether I was scared when passing through wild places and I told them ‘why should I be… God is with me.”
