Hadith of the Day: Your Neighbours

Today’s Hadith is about: Our Neigbhours and how should behave with them

Hadith of the Day - Neighbours

Neighbours

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not secure from his wrongful conduct.” [Muslim]

Ensure that a wedding, development or other gathering at your home does not infringe upon the privacy, serenity or clean condition of your neighbours or neighbourhood.

Does noise from your home irritate your neighbour? Did you leave your car parked in a manner that it can cause your neighbour burden? Do you by any chance know who your neighbour is? We should always be considerate to others as a Muslim and importantly to those who are around us.

Even if your neighbour does not behave well around you or is ill mannered, we as Muslims should still treat them with kindness.

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) stated: “If you are caring to your neighbour you will be a true believer.” [Tirmidhi]
