Today’s Hadith is about: Purchasing Garments of Jannah
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) said: “If any Muslim clothes a Muslim when he is naked, Allah will clothe him with some green garments of Paradise; if any Muslim feeds a Muslim when he is hungry, Allah will feed him with some of the fruits of Paradise; and if any Muslim gives a Muslim drink when he is thirsty, Allah will give him some of the pure wine which is sealed to drink.” [ Abu Dawud ]
Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has made a few things simple for us to secure, that we generally would not have known how to get. Had Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) not let us know, we would not have known about Paradise not to mention the articles of clothing in that.
Not only has he educated us regarding their reality, yet made it workable for every last one of us to effortlessly get some. It is safe to say that we are getting as amped up for it as we do about a clearance sale at our preferred clothing store? In the event that is not the case, at that point there is some kind of problem with our imaan.
Ali (radi Allahu anhu) said that if he somehow managed to see Paradise with his very own eyes he would not yearn for it more than he as of now aches for it. Nor would he by observing Jahannum with his own eyes dread it more than he as of now does. This demonstrates to us the degree of conviction the Sahabah had in the expressions of Allah (subhana wa ta’ala).
May Allah give us all the ability to follow the steps of the sahaba too.
